Most Recent Magnetic Pole Shift Just 41,000 Years Ago
Orthodox scientists, especially those who debunk the idea of a magnetic pole shift in 2012, need to keep up with the latest research and perhaps change their tune. Newly published data has confirmed that the Laschamp event was not an excursion, but actually a full-blown magnetic reversal that occurred very quickly compared to what scientists generally believe.
Some 41,000 years ago, a complete and rapid reversal of the geomagnetic field occurred …data obtained by the research team formed around GFZ researchers Dr. Norbert Nowaczyk and Prof. Helge Arz, together with additional data from other studies in the North Atlantic, the South Pacific and Hawaii, prove that this polarity reversal was a global event. Their results are published in the latest issue of the scientific journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters.

Evidence for excursions that have been discovered indicate that they occur at least every 65,000 years. If more are discovered then the frequency increases. It is entirely feasible that they occur every 40,000 years or so, and that we are overdue for a rapid magnetic pole shift.
