Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

February 21, 2013 – 11:31 am | No Comment

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

The X-Files, 2012 and 11:11

Submitted by on November 6, 2008 – 10:47 pm2 Comments

A new article by Philip Coppins covers modern day madness (my opinion) of obsessing over the numbers of 11 and 23. Of interest to us is how they connect to the year 2012:

The question is whether there is an “11 phenomenon”, or whether perhaps there is even an 11:11 or 11:22 phenomenon, seeing that the two numbers are obviously related. It was 11:22 that was a favourite time for the producers of “The X Files”, many of the clocks shown in the series showing this time.

…There is also the total solar eclipse of August 11, 1999, which occurred at 11.11 AM (GMT).

…What to make of the fact that the winter solstice in 2012 will occur at 11:11 universal time? It is of course this event that is so deeply linked with the Mayan calendar and its ending – or, if you are a fan of “The X Files”, the date of the alien invasion.

I’ve been seeing 11:11 for the past 20 years…..almost everyday! I’m sure it’s a message or a warning. One of my sons started seeing it the same time I did. There are several books out about 11:11….. I’m guessing 11:11 on Dec. 21, 2012…?

I thought is was 11:21 back in the day there was a tv show that talked to the cast and they were asked about the time on the clock always being the same. it was a producers wife’s bday. I always thought that was sweet.
