CPAK 2012, California, October
There have been quite a few conferences in recent years that appeal to 2012ers. They have mostly featured New Age authors, but a few concentrate on real science being used to solve ancient riddles. And given the Mayan Long Count calendar is an ancient riddle, this conference might be worth a look:
