Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

February 21, 2013 – 11:31 am | No Comment

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.
http://star.arm.ac.uk/preprints/2009/539.pdf

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

Another Misleading Global Warming Graph

Submitted by on November 2, 2011 – 12:23 am2 Comments

Very conveniently, this graph that appeared in newspapers globally last week, within stories that proclaimed that global warming was real after all, ends at the year 2000. Because beyond that date, despite rising emissions, global temperatures flatlined.

Professor Richard Muller, of Berkeley University in California, and his colleagues from the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperatures project team (BEST) claimed to have shown that the planet has warmed by almost a degree  centigrade since 1950 and is warming continually.

Published last week ahead of a major United Nations climate summit in Durban, South Africa, next month, their work was cited around the world as irrefutable evidence that only the most stringent measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions can save civilisation as we know it.

Prof Judith Curry, who chairs the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at America’s prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology, said that Prof Muller’s claim that he has proven global warming sceptics wrong was also a ‘huge mistake’, with no  scientific basis.

Prof Curry is a distinguished climate researcher with more than 30 years experience and the second named co-author of the BEST project’s four research papers.

…In fact, Prof Curry said, the project’s research data show there has been no increase in world temperatures since the end of the Nineties – a fact confirmed by a new analysis that The Mail on Sunday has obtained.

Can anyone reading this actually say they haven’t witnessed riseing tempetures? Bazar tempetures in winter?

Everywhere I’ve been, everyone I’ve talked to says the summers has been hotter than hell & rising. Some winters warmer than usual yet colder than normal weeks. Who is fooling who? Who cares, there’s STILL too much carbon dioxide & soot in the air. (cough cough) There’s too many unused & underused alternative (cough) methods of electricity generation. (cough cough)

ez is being like all the other global liars. Don’t let actual facts get in the way, gore doesn’t. He and some others say it is warming, or cooling (depending on how they are getting paid that week,) so it must be so.

Who can argue with the reams of data that gore made up… I mean researched. He spent a whole semester in college taking a science class, so who better to tell you what is happening.
