Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

February 21, 2013 – 11:31 am | No Comment

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.
http://star.arm.ac.uk/preprints/2009/539.pdf

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

Today Kentucky Stands Out

Submitted by on August 13, 2011 – 9:17 pm3 Comments

My two jobs collided today, in Kentucky.

In my day job, one of the things I do is buy/sell domain names. I noticed some community websites from Bowling Green, KY for sale, going really cheap. The sites belonged to the local government, church etc, so it didn’t ring true. So I spent some time contacting the different parties to alert them that a domain account had been hacked… Not worth mentioning on its own.

Then I was reviewing stories from SOTT, going back through those daily newsletters I hadn’t yet read, and I saw this story from July 27:

Suicide spikes among middle-aged women

Rises in suicide are one of the many things I look out for, so I read the article, which includes:

After watching her mom, Gail Boledovich, battle schizophrenia for three years and suffer from hallucinations and delusions, Julie resolved to take an engineering job in Bowling Green, Ky., and buy a house where her mom could live with her and have a beautiful garden and even an art studio to create her mosaics.

So this small city of 50,000 crosses my path twice in one afternoon. Although I’m pretty logical when it comes to 2012 research, I do have quite a strong pagan/intuitive/psychic side that I listen to sometimes…

So I did a web search for “bowling green” ky “2012” and found nothing of interest. But when I included “mayan” instead of “2012” I found that in Bowling Green is a Mexican restaurant called Riviera Maya Bar & Grill. And guess what….

Riviera’s entire dining room and bar is made up of dark, heavy wood furniture, complete with colorful Rainforest Cafe-esque logos etched in each table or booth. To help sell the Disney illusion, Riviera complements its dark furniture with cheesy photographs and 4 foot-high ceramic “Mayan” statues.

A local muralist has painted this on the restaurant wall:

Now I’ve not really mentioned this before, but my due-any-week-now Survive 2012 book mentions places in Kentucky as some of my favorite safe spots in the USA. And popular 2012 author Lawrence E Joesph has nominated Berea, KY as his safe spot. So yeah, today Kentucky stands out!

    Hi Rob

I saw an article on Reuters today that CME from the Sun can cause changes in behaviour. On August 5th 2011 there was a major solar which release CME. Some scientist say this can cause a rush in adrenalin and other changes in humans, which they link to the England riots and volatility in the world stock market.

The Metaphysics community has claims of DNA mutation due to the CME activity but i took that with a few grains of salt..But wow!that fire just got fanned back to curiosity ! ( “They”)..the famous “They” of coarse! say that many; You guessed it..the famous “many”; humans have a ancient dormant strand of DNA ,or some such ,that
is supposed to be activated by the CME’S to enable some esoteric mutation .
    Maybe they got something there..lol..
