Locked Gates by Howard West
There are a few authors out there who have flown beneath the radar, yet their research is unique, interesting and meaningful in a 2012 way. You could blame self-publishing for their lack of fame, yet this is the modern advancement that has allowed me to discover their work. For example, I have become a fan of these authors:
- James Bowles – The Gods, Gemini, and the Great Pyramid
- Robert Berringer – Ancient Gods and Their Mysteries
- Robert W Felix – Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps
- Suhail M Jalbout – The Warning in Stone
- Arthur Ryan – Are We Worth Our Salt?
While none of them have completely solved the puzzles (and neither have I), each have possibly provided important keys. These are all men who have shown great insight, and devoted a good portion of their lives to getting those insights out to the world, for little gain.
A new addition to the above list is Howard West. Like Robert Berringer he comes from a Christian angle, but in a good and catastrophic way. His eBook, Locked Gates, covers megalithic masonry, pyramid building solutions and comets, amongst other topics. He discusses his research with Art Bell. I love how he casually mentions how close he lives to Groom Lake (Area 51).
New ideas (to me) presented in his book are:
- Widespread use of the heliograph in ancient times. A super signal mirror…
- The origins of Morse Code
- Pyramids were heliograph watchtowers
- Heliographs were used to build the pyramids
I’m not convinced that the Nile was once high enough for the blocks to be floated and dropped down to build the pyramids – his explanation that the evidence of the needed dam was washed away seems to convenient, given that evidence of the ancient Sadd el-Kafara dam was found. Nor to I accept conclusions that the word pillar was used when they meant pyramid. Still, as with the books listed above, he may have discovered some clues that will be part of the great solution of somebody else.

Hi Rob,
Just few words to say that you are on our radar screen.
Kindest Regards
Suhail
