Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

Wandering Elders Behind Megaliths?

Submitted by on September 7, 2010 – 9:01 am3 Comments

My proposition is that megaliths and pyramids were typically built under the instruction of “mysterious elders”, who were only temporarily involved with each culture they helped.  This, to me, is the most logical explanation for why these construction abilities vanished from every culture that built such structures. A new study confirms the lack of consistent building, in Europe:

Rather than a single “megalithic” culture stretching across Europe, the outburst of mound tombs likely represents an idea reaching local cultures, he suggests, which then “stopped and started” across the centuries.

I do accept that the other possibility is that building megaliths “seemed like a good idea at the time”, but subsequently they failed to achieve what was expected. In the modern era we have plenty of fads, so why not back then as well? But megaliths (and pyramids) are more than just fads, for they have high levels of knowledge and expertise attached to them, suggesting that it was the enablers who travelled, not the idea.

The idea of wanderers is interesting! but let us analyze it a little ,monoliths or Great Pyramid structures are costlier to build and not suitable of dwelling ,the cost is more and the population they can accommodate is less, compared to a multi story apartment which is easier and safer to build and in less time ,my opinion is that this was finally realized by our elders ! Else if we accept that some Aliens helped to build this , or taught to build them ,this leads to two conclusions one, teaching building such (magnificent) structures at that time when humans didnt have tools or know-how is like teaching einsteins theories to an primary school kid ,secondly,if someone thought you such a theory the first thing(atleast I)would do is document the method properly and leave a note of thanks to my teacher and spread them !

The megaliths were initially relatively simple constructions which were improved and increased in size as the need demanded. Eventually the primary reason for their existence became obsolete and, like any other building which has served its purpose, were abandoned and replaced. Conversely we have progressed to erecting ever greater structures with even smaller components.

The most pressing problem I have, at this moment in time, Is how to get rid of that extremely irritating recurring nightmare of an ad. which keeps popping up at the bottom of this page. I do not need to be propositioned endlessly with an offer a free book. Must be in dire straits trying to get rid of surplus stock before they are washed away. Keep them for the furnace in the underground bunker, or insulation.
