Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

Rennes-Le-Chateau, Bugarach and 2012

I’ve been reporting over at 2012 News about Bugarach (France), where many 2012ers and UFO fans are allegedly gathering. So many in fact that the mayor of the small village has complained, and a government agency is warning about 2012 sects building bunkers in the area. It smells like a publicity stunt to me…

Apart from the publicity, I’ve not been able to verify that Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment is setting up camp in Bugarach. They do have connections with 2012:

  • The movie made by Ramtha disciples, What the Bleep Do We Know?!, features Miceal Ledwith, and he has a 2012 product out, 2013: Alignment With Chaos
  • JZ Knight, who is the channel for Ramtha, mentions 2012 frequently, but seemingly with no specifics, because she is warning of times to come

Ramtha recently shared this information via Knight:

“Where you are sitting right now [London] in one night will be covered in ice. When will that happen? In 2012. Shortly after, the Earth will move in its crust and it will rock, and then the ice will melt. Just the slightest movement with the planet will create a wave, and with the rocking of three inches creates tidal waves. But if it rocks and goes even a hundred yards, you have a massive, worldwide tidal wave.

No, it would take one event to bring the icecaps to melting when the sky catches on fire, and there is a reason it will do that too. Just with that continued melting and the change of the ocean’s temperature — just that — will create the most severe storms and supercells in the strangest of places. As that intensifies, it is going to get more rigorous in winter, and in the year that comes, you will see more storms and then a lull.”

It’s not hard to predict a severe winter for England. And of course 2012 covers two winters. Shorty after could mean a thousand years, given that Ramtha isn’t local, and isn’t human.

Making the news this week is a similar sounding publicity stunt from a village that lies just a few miles away, between Rennes-Le-Chateau and Bugarach. Rennes-Le-Chateau is a place that many conspiracy theorists and 2012ers would have read about.

Police have been called in to patrol the area near the village of Sougraigne, population 82, in the Aude region over fears the startling claims will lead to a sudden, massive influx of unwanted treasure hunters. The cave’s whereabouts on a rocky, wooded hillside were a long kept secret by the three would-be “raiders” and only made public last week because of an acrimonious dispute between the men.

As far as I can tell, to publicize their book – The Gold of Rennes, one of the three researchers has pretended to fall out with the other two, and he has revealed online the location of a cave where they believe treasure is hidden. So it will be interesting to see how many people gravitate to this region of France in the next 500 days.

I live in England, but I spent a week recently visiting the Aude region, especially Rennes le Chateau. It was my first visit. Bugarach mountain stands out, on its own, in a fertile plain and for me gave off tremendous energy. There are legends of underground worlds, immense cave systems, spirits and demons, etc, going back at least 2,000 years, long before it became associated with ufos. Its clearly a sacred place, since at least the stone age. Like many, I believe ufos and cryptids of today appear in such places, perhaps because the fabric of our reality is somehow thinner, just as ” demons” and so in did in the past. Rennes also was magical and full of spiritul energy. There are endless cave systems like Sougraine and the locals have hidden treasure there against invaders since at least Roman times.
There are many 2012ers in the area. Its not a publicity stunt by the mayor. Its plausible to conclude that if there is a visitation by other worldly entities in 2012, then the Rennes / Bugarach area will become a focal point
