Another Expert Agrees With Dark Comet Theory

February 21, 2013 – 11:31 am | No Comment

Astronomer David Asher (from Armagh University) has agreed with Bill Napier and Janaki Wickramasinghe (Cardiff University) that “dark comets” are real and dangerous.
The following quotes are from a paper by Napier and Asher published in Astronomy & Geophysics.

We know that about one bright comet (of absolute magnitude as bright as 7, comparable to Halley’s Comet) arrives in the visibility zone (perihelion q<5AU, say) each year from the Oort cloud. It seems to be securely established that ~1–2% of these are captured into Halleytype (HT) orbits. The dynamical lifetime of a body in such an orbit can be estimated, from which the expected number of HT comets is perhaps ~3000. The actual number of active HT comets is ~25. This discrepancy of at least two powers of 10 in the expected impact rate from comets as deduced from this theoretical argument on the one hand, and observations on the other, is …

2012ers Predict Quake

Submitted by on April 12, 2010 – 9:54 pm6 Comments

Apr 6, 2010 – 10:42:23 AM – Mitch Battros of Earth Changes Media posts an article with the headline Largest Solar Storm of Cycle 24 – Will Another Quake Follow?

His email to subscribers began by saying:

The most powerful geomagnetic storm since December 2006 struck the Earth on Monday. The solar storm prompted NOAA to issue a Space Weather Advisory on Monday ordering all personnel on the space shuttle and International Space Station to take cover in specially designed compartment shields.

Charged particles come in the form of galactic cosmic rays, gamma rays, solar flares, and CME’s. The Kp Index measures from 1 (mild) to 9 (severe). Monday’s hit measured 7.

For years Mitch has been telling us that the Sun will be the cause of increasing “earth changes” as 2012 approaches.

Meanwhile over at 2012 Forum, also posted on Tuesday April 6, “deanmullen10” makes the following prediction:

April-May 2010: The next earthquake 7.0 Magnitude or more will occur by April 11th or between April 20th-May 3rd.

The very next day there was a major earthquake:

A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia’s Sumatra island early Wednesday, triggering widespread panic and tsunami warnings but causing no major damage.

Neither nominated a location, but regardless, 7.0+ earthquakes only happen a few times each year, and two 2012ers called this one. Another 2012er, Paul LaViolette, had (prior to 2004) described how if a gamma ray burst reached Earth, it would be preceded by a gravity wave. Lo and behold, the tsunami of 2004 tsunami occurred one day prior to the biggest gamma ray burst ever recorded…from 26,000 light years away.

These may be coincidences, or they could mean that if these researchers are able to make connections between events in space, and geophysical events on Earth, then maybe a 2012 cataclysm will also be driven by something from without, rather than within.

i heard on the news of the solar eclipse for jan 4 2011.then i read there was a small earthquake in north yorkshire near ripon.yesterday. i think all lunar occurances are linked in some way or another.

Now we have birds and fish dropping like flies all along the New Madrid region, which in my opinion is a very large fault system with a supervolcano in the mix. I’m still stickin to the New Madrid letting loose, only this time i won’t be an idiot and place a date to it. 🙂

Was there any major solar activity in the past week or so to warn us of the Japan Quake??

There was a very mild tremor in St. Augustine, Florida in March….puzzled a lot of people who felt it….even in Jacksonville. Very unusual for Florida.
