The X-Files, 2012 and 11:11
A new article by Philip Coppins covers modern day madness (my opinion) of obsessing over the numbers of 11 and 23. Of interest to us is how they connect to the year 2012:
The question is whether there is an “11 phenomenon”, or whether perhaps there is even an 11:11 or 11:22 phenomenon, seeing that the two numbers are obviously related. It was 11:22 that was a favourite time for the producers of “The X Files”, many of the clocks shown in the series showing this time.
...There is also the total solar eclipse of August 11, 1999, which occurred at 11.11 AM (GMT).
...What to make of the fact that the winter solstice in 2012 will occur at 11:11 universal time? It is of course this event that is so deeply linked with the Mayan calendar and its ending – or, if you are a fan of “The X Files”, the date of the alien invasion.

I felt time prompt a lot before I heard about it and often something bizarre happened at same time. I am a Christian though, so am not mystical, just curious.
Now, you do realize that "11:11 universal time" is a arbitrary bit of mental fiction, which arises from dividing the day arbitrarily into 24 pieces and each piece into another 60, and then basing those divisions on some arbitrary prime meridian, right?
(in the most common definition of universal time, it's arbitrarily based off of the Greenwhich meridian. And if you're looking for a stupid and non-significant place to base your meridian, Greenwich is a pretty darn good choice. No volcanoes, no mystically symmetrical surroundings. Just a spot where an observatory sat that determined temporal and navigational data for the British Navy. (Which in turn meant that the same temporal/navigational data would become standardized for British trade--followed by American trade and American trains-- the British Empire, and thus, the world.) )
In short, whatever the pseudo-mystic significance of 11 or 12, the only reason that a solstice would fall on 11:11 is a coincidence between the arbitrary time/date system, and the natural, uneven, cycles of moon, sun, and stars. Same with 12/21/12, or 12/12/12, or whatever date is predicted for this terrible apocalypse o' Doom. (DOOOM!)

111 follows me around and I see that number almost everyday. I even found out that when I was young--and I remember this--I found a total of 111 four leaf clovers in a patch. I remember finding the clovers but my mother remembered the number of clovers I had found.

o yeah just adding something in there, i had weird phenomenon happen to me this month which included the number 7,11... On the 7th of november being the 11th month of the year. I actually went to my nearest 7/11 store to get a free slurpie,, but as I arrived with my mate, I looked at the time in my car and it was 7:11pm on the 7/11/2008 at a 7/11 store. weird eyy?.
Einstein solved riddles of the universe with numbers. Constants like the speed of light are essential to physics, so it's not a huge leap that their significance shows up in many other ways. Synchronicity is the essence of astrology, isn't it? Daniel Pinchbeck says the Maya were obsessed with the concept. Patrick Geryl has had a lot to say about recurring numbers in relation to the Egyptians and so too Calleman with regard to the Maya. It's probably worth checking out the Jung book on Synchronicity that the article referenced in this post cites.
Synchronicity - I have been reading about this group in Virginia 's members killed in India - high strangeness - I would call a cult. They listen to recorded brain waves, have a master and vice pres. member killed was astrologist. New Age regurgitation to become what is the joining of Christianity with satanic mysticism prophesied in the bible before the end of world government, Jesus Christ returning to earth to rule the world, which is the only resource, (bible), I choose to believe.
I know this is probably nothing, but 11 and 22 are the master numbers of numerology. Most number sets are added up continuously, digit by digit until they come up with a number from one to nine. There are however, two exceptions, 11, and 22. They cannot be reduced to 2 or 4.
And all this talk about numbers following people around,I've had experiences like that. My Nana recently died in the summer on July 3rd and the hospital room number she stayed in was 9/11. I know you probably think "9, and 11 are popular numbers" and "it's probably just a coincidence" but I really don't believe so. September 11 was my aunts birthday and she passed away about 6 months before I was born. My mother believed it was a sign. So anyhow, about 2 days after my nana died, I was out with my boyfriend and I was telling him about the numbers. We were eating at a Dairy Queen, and our ice cream came to exactly $9.11.
I freaked out, and even now when I see those numbers, I just freeze.
Disregard previous post, misstated time. One evening I got 3 calls on my cell from #100-000-0000 at exactly 11:11pm that could not be called back.
Oh yeah, one more thing, 12/21/2012 added up in its single digit form equals 11.
11 in numerology is interpreted as this:
The Master Teacher, Illumination, Enlightenment,Inspirational, Idealism, Intuitive, Psychic, Channeling,Poetry, Art, Symbols, Expression, Dreamer, Revolution,Drugs, Alternate Consciousness, Mysticism, Catalyst,Prisoner, Prophet.
slyder: cool. Is that why Noory says eleveners are enlightened? I think revolution is coming because of tax money funding crooked politicians. I am awaiting new "Time Prompt" book I ordered to be delivered in Jan. I am skeptical but intrigued, It is real maybe.

Seems like an interesting read, Maybe I'll look for it next time I'm in Coles.
11 is a strange number, not even, doesn't seem that important, why 11?
