It has been known for some time that scientists are planning to drill into the volcano, an act that some believe could trigger an eruption &#8211; in fact the concerns were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article\/mg20427333.600-plan-to-pierce-heart-of-urban-monster-volcano.html?DCMP=OTC-rss&amp;nsref=online-news\">published in New Scientist<\/a> last year.
