So, why would you want to live there? Well, if you are happy with your current life, family and employment – and you have faith in your country remaining safe and free, I can’t see it as much of an improvement.<\/p>\n

However, if you are a little bit paranoid (as many of my readers are), disillusioned with your current lot, have some cash and feel like a fresh start – it is a top choice. I think Australia would be better, but it costs a lot more to live here.<\/p>\n

Some qualities Belize has:<\/p>\n

it is never in the news – which means that not many bad things happen there<\/li>\n

glorious tropical climate and pace of life<\/li>\n

choose from the coast. mountains, forest or farm land<\/li>\n

stable government<\/li>\n

they speak English!<\/li>\n

not far from the USA if you wish to visit<\/li>\n

broadband internet<\/li>\n

easy for foreigners to set up business structures<\/li>\n

tax free in\u00a0some\u00a0circumstances<\/li>\n

the banks are similar to those in Switzerland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
