Here are the pictures – and so far nobody knows what they are!<\/p>\n

They were found in an Arizona desert. Here are some possibilities:<\/p>\n

Darlene Buhrow, director of marketing for Tucson Botanical Gardens said that after speaking to a botanist learned that, if the spheres are naturally occurring, they could be a slime mold or jelly fungus<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Other suggest they are a product, like Deco Beads<\/strong> which are small, colored, water-filled balls designed to keep plants hydrated. Though that does little to explain why thousands of them would have been put in the desert. <\/span><\/p>\n
