Unless you are a master of not providing a half-sentence that can be taken out of context, they are best avoided. Especially when it comes to crazy topics like 2012.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve turned them down&#8230; but I&#8217;ve not minded being involved with <em>Sunday Night<\/em> (didn&#8217;t happen) and <em>The Project<\/em> (should air next Tuesday).<\/p>\n<p>So, with few 2012ers willing to talk to Today Tonight, they ended up interviewing these whack jobs:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Just like most small towns, you&#8217;ll find a supermarket, three pubs, a chemist, a bank, a newsagent and a handful of cafes. But Allora is also the base for the Earth Mother Emissary Council and its devoted group of followers who are busily preparing for the end of the world as we know it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/au.news.yahoo.com\/today-tonight\/latest\/article\/-\/15267657\/ancient-doomsday-prophecy\/\">Watch the video<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>My take from this brief story is that the members of the council spend all day leafing through a thesaurus &#8211; guided by alien spirits, and they jot down anything that might indicate Planet X is close.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t mind linking to the official <a href=\"http:\/\/earthmother-emissary-council.com\">Earth Mother Emissary Council<\/a> website, because I trust that not one of my readers would be fooled by these folk. By-the-way, this is a personal opinion based on a face-value appraisal. Pretty much the only pages that do work are those requesting donations.<\/p>\n<p>This is just a guess, but I suspect the operation is not cash-flow positive.
