{"id":4184,"date":"2012-12-18T22:41:43","date_gmt":"2012-12-18T11:41:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/survive2012.com\/news\/?p=4184"},"modified":"2012-12-18T22:41:49","modified_gmt":"2012-12-18T11:41:49","slug":"2012-scenarios-that-cant-or-probably-wont-happen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/survive2012.com\/news\/2012\/12\/2012-scenarios-that-cant-or-probably-wont-happen-4184.html","title":{"rendered":"2012 Scenarios That Can&#8217;t (or probably won&#8217;t) Happen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/survive2012.com\/news\/?attachment_id=4652\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4652\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4652\" title=\"2012c\" src=\"http:\/\/survive2012.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/2012c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Regardless of their original feasibility, the following are just not going to bother us significantly or any differently <em>this year<\/em> because we&#8217;d see them coming already:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nibiru \/ Planet X<\/li>\n<li>Peak Oil<\/li>\n<li>Global Warming<\/li>\n<li>Killer Comet (excluding dark comets)<\/li>\n<li>Asteroid<\/li>\n<li>Rise of the Machines (like in <em>The Terminator<\/em> movies)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m not dismissing them entirely, just from a <em>happening on Dec 21, 2o12<\/em> context.<\/p>\n<p>Also unlikely are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anything to do with President Obama &#8211; he&#8217;s already had a full term to do whatever<\/li>\n<li>A new temple at Temple Mount &#8211; hard to build in 3 days<\/li>\n<li>Supervolcanic eruption &#8211; it isn&#8217;t certain, but some form of warning sign\u00a0 would be expected<\/li>\n<li>LHC &#8211; Large Hadron Collider &#8211; I&#8217;m not aware of anything new happening there this week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are still possible:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supernova &#8211; although the Maya would have needed some kind of quantum physics voodoo to see that coming faster than the speed of light<\/li>\n<li>Dark Comet &#8211; their mere existence is barely reported in studies, and there is zero info regarding how late in the game one would be spotted.
