And when I visited their website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.2012australia.com.au\">www.2012australia.com.au<\/a>), it was clear that they&#8217;d used some of my research regarding what might happen in 2o12.<\/p>\n<p>So I asked Simon for some more info. He replied:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the bunker construction has begun, with the hole dug and the concrete base poured<\/li>\n<li>they have shipping containers on site &#8211; the next step is to lower them onto the base and cover them with 40 mpa concrete<\/li>\n<li>the property is 50 acres, and has its own water supply<\/li>\n<li>so far three families have contributed funding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To secure a berth they are asking for $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, with food and seeds not included.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested, Simon&#8217;s email address can be found at the above site.
