Obviously Dec 21, 2012 is the date we all have in mind. Even so, amongst the various researchers of 2012 and end times<\/em>, these dates are also worth noting:<\/p>\n

Aug 22 2011<\/strong> (+\/- 3 days) – magnitude 5-7 earthquake<\/a>, lower South Island, NZ – according to Dr Reg Roberts
\nLate Aug 2011 <\/strong>– According to Mitch Battros of Earth Changes Media, Mayan elders say the last 10 days of August will reflect the prophetic predictions from ancient text<\/em>. He believes an increase in solar activity will be the cause, and a tsunami could be the result. Or nuclear war between Pakistan and India.
\nSep 27 2011<\/strong> – Comet Elenin, Earth, Sun in\u00a0 alignment. The last time this occurred, we had the Japanese quake…
\nOct 21 2011 <\/strong>– Harold Camping predicts<\/a> rapture
\nOct 28 2011<\/strong> – Carl Johan Calleman<\/a> sees this as the pivotal date of the Long Count calendar
\nMay 27, 2012 <\/strong>– Ronald Weinland predicts the return of Christ<\/a>.
\nNov 25 (or so) 2012<\/strong> – Comet Elenin, Earth, Sun in\u00a0 alignment.
\nDec 21, 2012<\/strong> – Patrick Geryl believes this is<\/em> the doomsday, Lawrence E Joseph is worried about the peak of the solar cycle, and I figure 6 months either side of the winter solstice is risky.<\/p>\n

New age authors don’t bother assigning dates…<\/p>\n

Obviously there is room for more predictions, and they will surely come. Each date gives one an excuse to become numb to the world, or not…<\/p>\n
