The lack of official concern could be because there is nothing to worry about. Or it could be due to something that is of great concern to 2012ers &#8211; lack of real disclosure. Officials said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The berm&#8217;s collapse didn&#8217;t affect the reactor shutdown cooling or the spent fuel pool cooling, but the power supply was cut after water surrounded the main electrical transformers, the NRC said. Emergency generators powered the plant until an off-site power supply was connected Sunday afternoon, according to OPPD.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So basically, if the supply of power from the emergency generators somehow fails, Nebraska will have a Fukushima on their hands. And even if the situation doesn&#8217;t worsen, it seems logical that radiation is now in the Missouri river.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information:<\/p>\n<p>June 6 the FAA put into effect \u2018temporary flying restrictions\u2019 over the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plan, and they remain. This is the same restriction that was put in place after the BP oil spill<\/p>\n<p>June 7 there was a fire at the plant, read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrc.gov\/reading-rm\/doc-collections\/event-status\/event\/2011\/20110608en.html#en46932\">official report<\/a>.
