Caves Discovered in Easter Island
Once again, an ancient mysterious site has been found to be associated with the underground:
A team of experts recently discovered a six-kilometer-long lava cave system on Easter Island thought to have been used as a refuge by the island’s inhabitants during the 16th century. The team confirmed it is the largest cave on the island and the 11th-largest in the world in terms of area.So many possibilities!
- The "Long Ears", while on Easter Island, instinctively sought out somewhere underground to hide
- The "Long Ears" stayed on Easter Island because of the caves
- Caves are everywhere, and it is just a coincidence
- The "Long Ears" created, or at least augmented, the caves
