Bunker Video with Great Tips

This two parter (the second video is at my 2012 Videos page) is not only a great way to see what a $170K bunker looks like (that’s delivered and installed, by NBC, if anyone is interested…), but I learned some things:

Have sand above your emergency escape hatch – open the hatch, sand falls into your bunker. This means you have the protection afforded by the density of sand, combined with immediate escape.
Make sure you have an 8-ton bottle jack, in case something heavy is lying on top of your bunker when you try to exit
The NBC shelter has a protective grill around the hot water heater, so children don’t burn themselves. In a lockdown situation, kids will be bored, and there won’t be a hospital to take them to… so make everything super-safe!
Pump the sewage out of the bunker, meaning the septic tank can be at the surface somewhere, rather than relying on gravity to a deeper pit beneath you.

Piers Corbyn: Red Alert until July 2nd

Piers Corbyn of WeatherAction.com has forecast the following for the period of June 27-July 2, with the greatest likelihood July 1-2:

Major Earthquake
Volcanism
Tornadoes and Tornado Swarms
Other Extreme Weather

His methodology is not clear, but it might not be a coincidence that we will be having a partial solar eclipse on July 1. While solar eclipses are correlated with greater likelihood of major earthquakes, my research indicates that the real risk lies with lunar eclipses. Still, a few good quakes are all solar eclipses need to be equally ranked.

Nuclear Disaster (?) in Nebraska, USA

The mainstream media has mostly ignored what seems to be a perilous nuclear situation within the USA, where a power plant has been half-drowned by the Missouri river. The lack of official concern could be because there is nothing to worry about. Or it could be due to something that is of great concern to 2012ers – lack of real disclosure. This video from MSNBC:

Since then, the rubber wall has been breached. Officials said:

The berm’s collapse didn’t affect the reactor shutdown cooling or the spent fuel pool cooling, but the power supply was cut after water surrounded the main electrical transformers, the NRC said. Emergency generators powered the plant until an off-site power supply was connected Sunday afternoon, according to OPPD.

So basically, if the supply of power from the emergency generators somehow fails, Nebraska will have a Fukushima on their hands. And even if the situation doesn’t worsen, it seems logical that radiation is now in the Missouri river.

Additional information:

June 6 the FAA put into effect ‘temporary flying restrictions’ over the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plan, and they remain. This is the same restriction that was put in place after the BP oil spill

June 7 there was a fire at the plant, read the official report. It was not caused by the flood, but cooling was lost for 90 minutes.

Russian TV on Comet Elenin

The video is from Russia, in Russian. From the backdrop I presume the show deals with UFO-type stories although I don’t get why they have an image of the Colosseum.

Without understanding a word of it, the video clearly covers the conspiracy theory aspects of Comet Elenin, and even gets the discoverer Leonid Elenin on camera, complete with him showing his ID. From his body language I am confident that he is the real deal, and not someone imagined up by NASA.

2012 Movie Prescient about Neutrinos?

Most of the 2012 movie was based on the ideas of Patrick Geryl, possibly via my site. But the idea of neutrinos from the Sun being the culprit, I have no idea where the screenwriters got that from. It was such a ridiculous idea that Scientific American chimed in:

The premise: the sun’s 11-year activity cycle reaches a peak in 2012… For some reason, the neutrinos from the sun start behaving differently: they begin interacting frequently with matter, rather than largely passing through it harmlessly. The filmmakers could have easily invented entirely new particles for the job—call them bambinos, say—but perhaps that’s too silly.

In the movie, the “neutrinos” heat up Earth’s inner core, making it boil. That in turn destabilizes the overlying layers (outer core and mantle), making the crust buckle, rise and shift by thousands of kilometers.

Way back in 2009 scientists all knew that neutrinos pretty much did not interact with particles on Earth. But last year research into radioactive decay rates suggested that neutrinos might not be so harmless after all, and the numbers that zip through our planet are determined by solar cycles.

Laboratories around the globe have confirmed that the rate of radioactive decay—once thought to be a constant and a bedrock of science—is no longer a constant. Something being emitted from the sun is interacting with matter in strange and unknown ways with the startling potential to dramatically change the nature of the very Earth itself.

…Researchers have correlated the anomalies in the decay rate to a 33-day period. That time frame matches the 33-day rotation of the solar core. Such a match strains credulity as being a mere coincidence.

Since the sun’s core is known to blast out continuous streams of particles called neutrinos, some scientists are attempting to find evidence that neutrinos are the culprits behind the mutation of matter.

There’s a problem with that hypothesis, however, as neutrinos are like ghost particles. They’re extremely difficult to detect. Normally, neutrinos pass through the Earth without any interaction at all. To a neutrino, it’s as if the Earth doesn’t exist.

Other than discovering a previously unknown property of neutrinos, or finding a new particle altogether, the possibility exists that no particle is behind the changes recorded in the radioactive decay rates. What could be causing the phenomenon is a previously unknown force.

The quoted article is written by a Belgian conspiracy theorist, but he has the facts correct, and links to proper sources. At the other end of sensationalism the good folk at 2012Hoax.org have a thread discussing it as well.

Ultimately this news reinforces the need to prepare for the worst, and to ignore scientists who claim that the Sun won’t wreak havoc upon us. This new particle, or new interaction with neutrinos, could be something that arrives en masse every so often. We really don’t know.

(Of course I am now wondering if rates of genetic mutation are in sync with the cycles of the Sun…)

100 Days of Disaster – VIDEO UPDATE

I’ve got no idea if this will be on YouTube for a day, a week, or forever, but here’s the documentary for non-Aussies to see:

My understanding is that it had 335,000 viewers which is average for 10PM on a Monday. I’m particularly happy with the overall 2012 angle that was presented. Patrick Geryl did well, and between us I feel that the 2012 doomsday scenario was given a good airing. Certainly the bit where I say NASA isn’t giving us the full story and the NASA debunker seemed insane (relative to myself) was pleasing. While I doubt Channel Ten will be doing anything more with this, I believe Discovery/History/NatGeo would love to screen it.

I screwed up a little… I said that in June there are two lunar eclipses and one solar eclipse. It’s the other way around. And the general location of my bunker was given away, but that’s OK – it’s not like an address or anything, and from recent emails I know I have already inspired some folk to be more proactive about surviving 2012.

I’m one of the interviewees for an Australian documentary, 100 Days of Disaster, screening tomorrow (Monday) on Channel 10 at 10pm. Patrick Geryl was also interviewed, plus I believe a few orthodox scientists, some religion experts and I think an astrologer. All being asked if we should expect the rise in natural disasters to continue.
