Solar Flare ‘Could Paralyse Earth’
This was discussed by US governmental bodies in the last year, and not much has been achieved. Perhaps the UK can be more prudent?
Nasa has warned that a peak in the sun’s magnetic energy cycle and the number of sun spots or flares around 2013 could generate huge radiation levels.
The resulting solar storm could cause a geomagnetic storm on Earth, knocking out electricity grids around the world for hours, days, or even months, bringing much of normal life grinding to a halt.
Defence Secretary Liam Fox, who delivered the keynote address at an international conference on the vulnerability of electricity grids around the world, warned that modern societies’ dependence on technology leaves them vulnerable to such events.
Fox added in the threat of nuclear detonations created by rogue nations that could also knock out power grids. Hopefully we will see government(s) take action to prevent a tragedy, rather than going Katrina on us yet again, and only responding in the aftermath.
Setting yourself up for failure is never an option. Never get too dependent on what helps live be sustained only hinders the aspects of future living if something in great lengths such as this could occur. All to prepare for anything does not matter what it is.. better to have prepared then not at all. so, just keep on your toes for anything because it’s going to be a better outcome in the long run if you did rather you didn’t.
Im no scientist. there is a lot of speculation on what will happen on Dec. 21, 2012.
According to the Mayan calendar, it is beginning of a new day not the end. If it was going to be the end of the world it would have already happened knowing the destructive nature of humans. but it has not happened.
Rather than thinking it is the end of something why dont we look at what the new day will bring us?
It will be a new beginning for some of us while others will think that destruction will befall us.
Remember with the end of something there is all ways a new day dawning.

I subscribe to Mr. Bast’s 2012 Blog,because he is obviously knows how
to keep people interested,and I cannot begin to tell you how many very
cool links I have obtained from this,including one called “Survival Blog”. JRW, as the author goes by,stresses you need to have food,water,
and firearms with a good supply of ammunition. I have been without power for eleven days as a by-product of a HURRICANE’S wrath,but always
having been a survivalist by nature,I always prepared for hurricane
season by having an abundance of canned/dry foods and bottled (gallon
size)water and I buy things that I enjoy eating so if the power goes
out,I do not have to feel like I am living in a concentration camp.
I also have many,many disposable LIGHT EMITTING DIODE FLASHLIGHTS,
which last for days,so if I cannot read online,I can certainly amuse
myself by reading a book from a very extensive personal library.
But since I have done the extra food and water thing for about 25
years, and I already have the ammo thing down,why not invest a few
more hundred dollars in a years supply of food and water to be all
set. TO MY FELLOW 2012ers, Are you starting to feel the energy yet?

I think the Baby Boomers are going extinct, finally.
I also think we are entering into a dark age. I furthermore think

or Armed Forces expeirience you will be neccesitte to use it.
The Galactic Conjunction is over, 2012-2013 we will all wake up
from a Breathless Nightmare, 1 Year older, and lost. The Phony
