Mel Gibson Update
[that Mel Gibson has any special knowledge regarding 2012 is pure speculation on my part, as an example of how a famous person, in the know, might seem to act as 2012 approaches]
Well, well – back in February I speculated that perhaps Mel Gibson – the only person who has ever made a movie about the ancient Maya, star of Conspiracy Theory, company logo looking very Illuminati – is becoming increasingly unhinged due to an impending 2012 catastrophe.
Now, after the very public airings of his alleged violence towards former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, it appears that he is heading for what is perhaps the safest safe spot of all – Australia.
MEL Gibson is poised to quit the US and return to Australia with his ex-wife Robyn after selling his mansion near New York.
He has told friends he will move back to Australia with his former wife, who still supports him and recently spoke out against Grigorieva’s allegations.
The disgraced Hollywood star, who faces allegations of violence from former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, sold the mock-Tudor property, known as Old Mill Farm, for $28 million — a whopping $17 million less than the asking price.
Gibson has also put his Malibu, California home, Lavender Hill Farm, on the market for $17 million, according to a property newsletter.
Any Australian will tell you that Mel is an Aussie, but actually he was born in the USA, moved to Australia when he was 12, and made his early movies there. But due to his Hollywood career, Mel has been based in the USA for a very, very long time.
Is he running from the press (we have paparazzi in Australia as well)? Or is he preparing for 2012??

it stays speculation … no actual proof. Like the rest of this blog… I’m wondering, if all this was true, why not one single person has found anything that even looks a bit like proof.
And of course, in the meanwhile there are a bunch of people – and the number is growing every day – who takes advantage out of the whole rumour about 2012. Looking a bit further, we can see however that they ALL have a backdoor to escape if 2012 appears to be a hoax (or setup, if you want). @Kirsten: If a psychic/shaman/mad uncle told you that in Dec 2012 your house would burn down, or you’d be in a car crash, or you’d win on Lotto – what evidential proof could you find prior to it happening?
This speculation is part of my ongoing mission to find any evidence that may exist. While I don’t have high hopes, I am trying because it seems nobody else is.

Proof?????// What kind of proof do people need ??? Most everything is speculation but we do plan for these and I for one will plan for the 2012 change event. I am not sure what will happen however I do think that the Mayans did not have a sense of humor ( remember they had human sacrifices) I do think they knew something we do not know. Whatever the case may be I do pay attention to what is happening around me and I for one do not like what I am seeing in the world. China comming on strong like some dragon Africa comming into it/s own and most of the third world countries have become modernized and have moved into the 21st century. World government is closer than I like to believe and a police state is nearly arrived in the USA. I don/’t have a good feeling about the future and from what I can surmize from whats happening in the world I believe that human beings are in for a real good spanking real soon. The “change” , what I like to call it , is something that will force the human population to recognize that they are not the masters of the universe and that the planet must be treated with respect. Yea a good old fashion ass wooping is what I think we are all in for . A lot will not survive , many will not want to , but in the end I do believe it will humble us and remind us of our place in the sceme of things. Now go on out there and live like you where dying and you really don’t have a lot of time to empty that bucket list.

“Naive peope?” I think not! What I have seen and heard is fact….not heresay, or some trumped up fear tactics! Some ‘head in the sand people’ need some Outer education,…if not receiving it on the Inner.

Myself I’m just curious I expect 2012 to come and go like any other year, yes I agree with you a lot
of people are trying to make a quick buck selling fear to the masses but that’s just human nature.
What I would suggest is you look at the amount of money that’s been spent on infrared/near infrared telescopes since 2003 even the Vatican has one based in Arizona and why all of a sudden governments seem to think we need seed arks.

If the Mayans supposedly could predict 2012 — why didn’t they predict their own demise?
