GPS Failure in 2012?
It wouldn't be a total catastrophe, but it could certainly cause lots of trouble for transportation systems that rely on GPS, especially passenger airlines.
Existing satellites are ageing, and replacements are behind schedule and over budget, according to a report from the US Government Accountability Office.And you wouldn't want to trust an unreliable GPS...
Satnavs and other GPS devices calculate their position by comparing time signals from at least four satellites. To keep that many within range at all times requires a fleet of at least 24. For now there are 31 operating, but 13 of them are more than four years past their design lifetime.
The first replacement "block IIF" satellites are not due to launch till November, three years behind schedule, and the GAO predicts a 20 per cent chance that the fleet will drop below 24 at times in 2011 and 2012. That wouldn't cause GPS to shut down, but its accuracy would drop unpredictably.

Nice site, I noticed in your list of 22, 2012 scenarios that you don't mention the "ascension" or "4th density" scenario. Where have you been, sir?
This is the scenario the Mayan's now teach along with most indigenous tribes. In this scenario, the baseline energies that support our current reality are accelerated. This causes structural and DNA changes throughout nature. All EM fields, including the sun, reboot.
It also causes psychological grinding and spiritual ascension where some people will slide up to a more psychic awareness and actually begin to feel other people's pain. This automatically creates the New Age of consensus and peace. Various Earth changes are also included in this view.
This is completely different than the rapture, as the rapture takes only Christians to heaven while the earth is tortured. The Ascension theory takes everyone upwards if they can handle it, and are willing. It moves the whole world from 3rd density to 4th density in terms of evolution. 4th density is basically higher consciousness, or a higher order of unity among people.

As far as the GPS failing, I have been reading on the internet that they are already starting to fail off and on here and there. I think it is from that huge hole NASA reported in our magnetosphere a few months ago for some unknown reason. Anyway, I hope it fixes itself and it all gets back to normal soon.
Sweety. A war is going to happen in 2012. One that will affect every square inch of land on this planet. I dont claim to know everything that will happen, and the future is always changeing, but this is the strongest future right now. The worst of it all will be the US, UK, China, and Japan. And everything is already starting right now. I advise everyone to 1) Do not get any vaccines. They're full of toxins that will actualy weaken you even worse then the actualy sickness. 2) Train for endurance and speed. And 3) Practice stealth. If the streets are blocked and theres patrols all around you, silence is key. Avoid useing guns. They are FAR too loud to be of any use in the event of a sudden escape. Everyone be careful. And, like i said, this is NOT the only possible future. Things do change.
