The teaser trailer for 2012 uses the same music as the theatrical trailer for The Shining. Watch both trailers and compare the music and visual themes. Both previews depict a flood.He also links to a massive look into hidden messages of The Shining, which notices that there is a piece of Mayan artwork in the film:

Report from Europe:
Every movie in theatre starts with the 2012 trailer since early MAY 2009(!) so here we have 6 months of 2012 trailering before every movie starts...
Seeing the current November release date and the new webbot forecasts, you might argue that the film doesn't matter anymore, the trailering reached more people than any blockbuster could ever do.
"Google it: 2012" LOL
Then I leave out the fact their Institue For Human Continuity ploy... something's up, but this is just another enlargement of the smokescreen...
