Some "End of the World" Movies
These are being released next year, or have recently been released. Is it just a coincidence that these types of films are coming out so close to 2012?
2012 - from the guy who gave us Independence Day
2012 - written by the guy who gave us the Communion book
City of Ember - survivors in an underground city
The Road - based on a post-apocalypse book by Cormac McCarthy
Autumn - all of us become zombies
Deadland - post WW3, sounds like Mad Max Redux
Wasteland - our pollution causes everything to die
The Last Man - sounds like I Am Legend
I guess that means lots of comedies will top the movie charts?

Funny how so many things are coincidences. Go figure?
Surely there should also be at least one movie about the good things that will/would/should/could come of a shift in 2012?
All this garbage entertainment seems to just want to use the 2012 date to justify a 'bang crash boom' movie.
None of these movies want the audience to do any wondering or thinking.
But (sigh) I guess it gets the message out there to be prepared...
