Mexican Pyramid Chamber to be Investigated

At the end of this month archaeologists will be taking a fresh look at the chamber beneath the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. Discovered accidentally in 1971, it was thought to be just a natural cave, and was soon sealed. Now experts realise that the tunnel is partially man-made. It lies 20 feet below the pyramid, and is 295 ft long and 8 ft high. At the very end of the tunnel are "offerings", and I will be keen to know exactly what is there. Could it be a shelter? Whatever the purpose, it strengthens the connections with Egypt, with the Great Pyramid also having a chamber beneath it.

More at the Telegraph.

Could it be another site of the ancient arrow project left by the wingmakers? As far as I know only one site has been discovered as yet and the other six on each continent are yet to be found. Could it that?
