Another 2012 movie!
How many will be made? Usually Hollywood makes 1 hit & 2 also rans that cover the same basic theme...

Called simply 2012, the movie will be about a family vacation during that fateful month when, according to the Mayan calendar, and some UFO theorists, something devastating is expected to take place. 2012 will be written by Tom Astle and Matt Ember, and it will probably be directed by Tom Dey -- all three of whom were responsible for Failure to Launch.

HI. I am an expert on many things Maya. The entire positions of their buildings, were aligned with the heavens. To accomplish this is a great feat on literally thousands of sites. They are a lot more ancient than most claim. It would upset too many things academically, including the current theory of evolution to acknowledge this.
There is a lot of evidence to prove that the Maya were in communication with other ancient civilizations, and were dispersing their knowledge around the world.
Contrary to Mel Gibson's film, the Maya were not doing human sacrifice at the time of the Spanish invasion. According to the Polpo Vu, the Mayan Hero Twins defeated the dark lords of illusion with the sacred ball game, which is the genesis for all ball games. Human sacrifice was eliminated, because death was defeated.
According to the Polpo Vu, nearly all tribes were doing human sacrifice after the destruction of Atlantis. They were instructed to do so by a demonic being named Tohil in exchange for to knowledge on how to make and harness fire. Most of the earthly tribes submitted, thus beginning the age of many strange ritualistic practices among the human populations.
